Shiro Sakai cuts this coat in a black wool, viscose and cotton blend that sits between a traditional overcoat and a more architecturally considered silhouette: the body is straight through the chest and opens to a gentle flare below the hip. Notch lapels fold flat, and every pocket, from the chest pair to the hip entries, is concealed behind buttoned fabric flaps so the face of the coat reads completely clean.
