S0105SSW - WWII Model 11.5oz Denim Pants - Indigo Blue

From Standard & Strange

With a stylistic focus that zooms in on the era where denim transitioned from "workwear" to a casual fabric, Fullcount were the first brand to start making their denim from hand-picked Zimbabwean cotton, which is famous for its long staple length (granting it both greater softness and durability than other, shorter-staple cottons). These WWII model's newly produced original iron donut buttons with arabesque pattern, unmarked punch-through rivets, and indigo herringbone pocket lining, faithfully covering WWII-era details. Unlike the rough, amateur-like stitching often seen on original wartime models, this version is sewn with strong, precise thread tension to emphasize puckering. Stitch color is finished in a yellow-tone gradation. They're made from Fullcount's 11.5 oz, 100% Zimbabwean cotton selvedge denim, produced in Japan. Over time, the fabric will relax and open up from wear, while washing will help bring the fabric back in via slight shrinkage. These run about 1" small in the waist, we suggest choosing one size larger than your usual size for the best fit. Cold wash and hang dry. 100% cotton 11.5oz custom Japanese selvedge denim Made from hand picked Zimbabwean cotton Five pocket jean Custom Fullcount copper rivets Custom iron donut buttons Goatskin leather patch 100% cotton thread High Rise Fit Wide straight leg Wash cold, hang dry Made in Japan
